What a blessing to be able to share the incredible story of Desmond Doss with our youth. For anyone who hasn’t seen The Conscientious Objector documentary by Terry Benedict on Desmond’s story, I would highly recommend you watch this even if you have seen Hacksaw Ridge. Hearing the soldiers Desmond served with tell his story reinforces all the actions of Desmond shown in the movie Hacksaw Ridge. Desmond is still spreading the word nearly 80 years after his acts during World War II that would earn him the Congressional Medal of Honor.
