DTD wants to give a BIG Thank you to the Lynchburg Area Veterans Council and The Desmond Doss TCO for allowing Desmond T. Doss Christian Academy to participate in today’s official “Desmond T. Doss Day” at his birthplace on Garfield Avenue. As Councilman Sterling Wilder so eloquently stated “October 12 is officially Desmond T. Doss Day in Lynchburg, Virginia.”
As always Desmond Jr’s comments about his father were inspiring!
