The Kindergarten Class Goes on an Easter Egg Hunt

DTD_EasterEggHunt1On Friday, March 29th, Mrs. Thompson’s Kindergarten class had an Easter egg hunt on the school’s playground.  This hunt came with a special twist, though.  There was one egg with no candy inside.  It was empty.  But this was a good thing.  You see, Mrs. Thompson had a special task for the child who found the empty egg.  When it was opened, the child was to proclaim, “The tomb is empty. Jesus has risen!”

For finding the special empty egg, the student was given a chocolate bunny as a special treat.  All of the children had a wonderful time and enjoyed snacking on the sweets found inside the other eggs.
