It seems fitting that on Desmond T. Doss Day in Lynchburg that the Veterans of Foreign War’s Desmond T. Doss Memorial Post # 12179 presented Desmond T. Doss Christian Academy a plaque today “For your support and generosity in donating a meeting space, allowing us to fulfil our mission to the Lynchburg area veteran community.”
What an honor to be the starting point for the reestablishment of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post here in Lynchburg under Desmond T. Doss’s name.
