In December, we visited Brook Hill Farm’s director, Jo Miller, in her home. She has 3 rescue birds, and we went to her farm to learn more. This field trip coordinated with a Pathways Unit based on the wonderful book Julius, the Perfectly Pesky Pet Parrot. We enjoyed hearing her birds talk to each other and learning many amazing facts about them. Their rescue stories were touching and went right along with our book. God certainly created magnificent animals!
