Great first day of Kindergarten! I am so excited because I have such a smart and sweet group of students.
After unpacking all the school supplies, my students loved taking a tour of the school and learning where everything is.
I read the “Kissing Hand” by Audrey Penn to them. This story is about Chester the raccoon who is scared to begin Kindergarten. His mother gives him a kiss in his hand that will help him feel her love while he is at school.
After the story, we made made kissing hands for their parents.
