We are in the process of onboarding with an online company called Facts for application, reenrollment, and tuition payment.
Reenrollment for returning students will take place through Facts family portals very soon.
DTD families who don’t already have a link for their portal will receive one soon. If you are new and interested in applying to our school, please note the procedure below.
1. Tour the school, meet our staff and students.
2. Complete our online application and submit required documentation including a copy of your child’s live birth certificate.
3. Rising 5th grade students and up need to write a handwritten 1-4 paragraph essay, topic: “Why I want to attend Desmond T. Doss Christian Academy.” This essay can be uploaded on Facts or sent to school.
4. Families of homeschool, transfer students, and others, in some cases will need to schedule a time for academic screening.
5. Request a copy of all records to be sent to us from previous schools, including standardized testing, behavior records, IEP/ISP.
6. Kindergarteners and all new students must have a physical exam, and we need a copy of vaccination records.
7. Our DTD Admissions Team will meet to evaluate admissions documentation. (An acceptance letter will probably be sent to you by email.)
8. Pay your registration fee online.
9. If needed, you will set up an online payment plan to be established through a family portal on Facts.
